Notice of handkerchief collection
June is Environment Month—Notice Regarding Handkerchief Collection
June 5 is Environment Day.
The United Nations has designated this day as “World Environment Day.”
At CLASSICS the Small Luxury, as part of our environmental initiatives centered on handkerchiefs, we collect fabric scraps generated during the production process, as well as handkerchiefs you no longer need at home, and transform them into recycled paper.
We have collection boxes set up in our stores on a regular basis, but we would like to take this opportunity to remind you of this initiative.
Collection Box Locations
・Roppongi Hills Main Store
・Nihonbashi Ningyocho Store
Items Accepted
・Handkerchiefs you no longer need
*Any brand is accepted.
*Please remove any hard objects such as stickers or metal fasteners (e.g., Swarovski crystals).
Environmental Initiatives
The handkerchiefs we collect will be transformed from “textiles” into “recycled paper” through a program run by the Circular Cotton Factory, a general incorporated association. Please see below for details.

Upcycle Series “Re-Edit”
“re” means “again,” and “edit” means “to edit.”
The “Re-Edit” products are created by breathing new life into handkerchiefs with tiny scratches or stains from the manufacturing process, as well as deadstock items that never make it to store shelves—items that would otherwise have been discarded—and transforming them into something new.
Please join us in sharing our commitment to the environment and take this small step toward passing on a beautiful Earth to the next generation.
