A powerful design with vertical red and gold patterns expressed in linear lines with motifs of bamboo and bamboo. The fabric is jacquard fabric woven in a cloisonné pattern.The dyeing is carefully done by hand. The edges are carefully hand-stitched one by one without using a sewing machine to create a fluffy three-dimensional shape.

Kawara-Sho-en is a Noh group led by Takuji Ueda, a school of Noh music. Based in the scenic area of Shukugawa, Hyogo Prefecture, we carry out a variety of activities to help people of all generations become more familiar with Noh.
