HIKKOMI Proverb: Even a dog will eventually stumble upon a stick
"Proverbs" are short sayings that have been widely passed down among people since ancient times, containing lessons, practical wisdom, and satire. I designed illustrations based on the stories behind these proverbs.
“Even a dog will stumble upon a stick if it walks long enough”
When you start walking, unexpected encounters await. Take
that first step outside. Sometimes, a simple action can lead to new encounters or small strokes of luck. This humorous design adds a little positivity to your daily life. The dog tugging
on a handkerchief and the stick are delicately embroidered, while the grassy area is rendered with fringe.
It carries positive meanings such as “encountering unexpected good fortune” and “everything starts with taking action.” It’s recommended as a gift to offer encouragement for new beginnings, career changes, or transfers.
