The Tokyo Kimono Show aims to see "kimono" and "Japanese culture" that have been distant from Japanese people's lives as more familiar to them, and to give them a sense of newness tailored to modern needs. The Tokyo Kimono Show 2024, which marks its seventh event, counting from its predecessor event, Wato Nihonbashi (2015), will be held simultaneously at all 20 venues, including the four main venues in the Nihonbashi Ningyocho wholesale district (Sunrise Building, Wata Shopping Hall, Tagen Building, and Blooming Nakanishi), as well as at 16 satellite venues scattered around the area.
