Introducing our new handkerchief, “Cat Standing in the Dark,” featuring a design of a cat quietly standing in the pitch-black night. The background features a crescent moon and flowers, creating a slightly mysterious yet cute atmosphere.
We’ve used a glow-in-the-dark sheet for the cat’s eyes, so they glow in the dark. We drew inspiration from real cats, whose eyes also glow in the dark.
Design Background
When I used to have a cat, I found it fascinating how its eyes would gleam in photos I took at night—that memory led to this design.I created this design with the image in mind of turning off the lights before bed and glancing around to see what looks like glowing eyes. I’d be happy if this design makes you feel, even for a moment, as if a cat is at home, or if you enjoy taking photos of it glowing at night.
Since the design doesn’t store light while the handkerchief is in your pocket, the eyes won’t glow even if you unfold it in a dark place afterward.
It’s designed to absorb light from sources like sunlight or fluorescent lights and glow in the dark. The intensity of the glow varies depending on the brightness and duration of the light.
