Announcement of Our First Participation in the “NEW ENERGY BLDG.” Joint Trade Show

We will be exhibiting for the first time at the “NEW ENERGY BLDG.” joint exhibition, to be held at P.O. Minami-Aoyama Hall in Tokyo from Wednesday, September 2, 2026, through Friday, September 4, 2026.

“CLASSICS the Small Luxury” will showcase handkerchiefs under the theme of “Japanese Craftsmanship.”The production of each handkerchief involves artisans and factories across Japan specializing in various processes—such as weaving, dyeing, embroidery, and sewing—so each handkerchief travels through many different regions before it is completed. We aim to showcase the new charm and value of these handkerchiefs, born from the fusion of traditional Japanese craftsmanship and contemporary sensibilities.

Featuring a rich color palette of 108 shades, the exhibition showcases the “SIC Color 108” series—which offers the smooth texture of Sea Island Cotton—offering a smooth, velvety texture and vibrant colors achieved through hand-dyed printing—as well as “Hemp” handkerchiefs characterized by their deep hues, created by weaving a combination of yarns dyed before spinning,velvety-lustered towel handkerchiefs created through a shirring process, and the unique “HIKKOMI” series, which expresses designers’ free-spirited ideas through embroidery techniques—we present items crafted with meticulous attention to materials and techniques.
