CLASSICS the Small Luxury Design Award 2025 Winners Announced

"CLASSICS the Small Luxury Design Award 2025" is recruiting handkerchief designs from all over the world. This time, the 5th time, “Harmony (We solicited works based on the theme of ``Harmony''.

The recruitment period is from November 3, 2024 to January 31, 2025.We received 1,439 entries from 43 countries.Thank you very much for your many applications.

From among them, six judges selected the works,The following five items were awarded.

Grand Prix: 1 work
Second Grand Prix: 1 work
Special Jury Award: 3 works

A form of "harmony" gathered from all over the world.Each has a story,The designs are such that just looking at them will make you feel at ease.

Judge's comment: This year's theme "Harmony"This is the work that most accurately responded.

The shapes of various animals are painted white,At first glance, it seems unclear what kind of animal it is,A form that looks familiar from somewhere. “Beyond the world and individual differences”It expresses the state of "harmony" with exquisite balance.Even if I try to draw the same theme,It was a piece that shines with a sense of expression that is hard to come by.

Also, is it on the ground or on the water?The way the space is perceived is also drawn diagonally, and the way the blank space is left is also excellent.While the whole thing is painted white, the only oneThe fact that there is one animal with a cute expression drawn on it,It left a strong impression on me.

Cute and with a big theme. “Representation” that balances bothThe balance between ``abstract'' and ``abstract'' is considered to be the best among all this time.Selected for the Grand Prix.

Jury Comments: My first impression was that this work had a very cute design that caught my eye.Swimming and floating in a simple composition,The sight of people enjoying swimming in the sea to their heart's content,It is carefully drawn.

The color balance between the sea and the people is beautiful.You can also feel the sense in how they manage the space.Liveliness and tranquility coexist in the expansive water surface,You can't help but smile while looking at it.A warm worldview was conveyed to me.

Although each person has a different atmosphere and movement,It creates a harmonious scene as a whole, and the theme is "Harmony".This is a work that shines with a gentle and soft interpretation.

harmony. It is true that even if any one of them is missing, automobiles will not be able to reach our daily lives. The theme of ``Harmony'' tends to include grand themes such as the earth, nature, and love.He tends to get started, but I think he has a sense of style in asking for this in an "industrial product."The illustrations also have an indescribable 90's American comic-like feel to them, giving them a pop look as a whole, but also a street feel, without being old-fashioned. This is a piece you'll want to put in the pocket of your wide pants on the weekends.

While depicting the symbol of ``harmony'' of ``dancing in a circle,'' the design is a mix of concrete and abstract, such as the inside of a house, a field, and a geometric pattern. I could hear the music of polkas and waltzes, and I imagined the happy ending of a fairy tale. The pink cat is also cute and the color is beautiful. A wonderful handkerchief that will make you feel like sunshine.

I felt refreshed by the idea and thorough design that broke the preconceptions of what a handkerchief is. The text was fun to read, and even the packaging for Chikyu Nabe Tsuyu was carefully drawn, making it look like it was being made innocently, and I was impressed by the fine details of the craftsmanship.

On April 15th, we announced the winners on this page, but the applicant who won the special jury award requested to decline the award, and we have accepted the offer.
