Award-winning work

- Grand Prix (1 work) -

Author: Spengler Anna (Russia) Title: Sweet Immersion

 Judges’ comments:

(Comment from Mr. Kajiwara at the screening committee)

The moment I saw it, I knew I really liked it. After all, that feeling of satisfaction. The feeling of floating, this time, the point of healing for me was actually the feeling of satisfaction when I ate, so I thought that the feeling of satisfaction when I finished eating earlier was good.
And this is also a feeling of satisfaction. So, the feeling of satisfaction and deliciousness is that thing.2As I was watching it point by point, I felt like I had just eaten something delicious. Well, I'm choosing this one.

(Mr. Takai's comments at the screening committee)

I really like this one though. Well, as you just said, the story was amazing and the food was okay.
It looks delicious though. But there are so many amazing stories.
I could feel it, and I thought that the title probably meant something like immersing yourself in something like this. What about that breakfast?
What do you mean? It's like that. Well, I think it's something like cornflakes with milk poured over it, and there's this little character there who's wearing a bowl on his head, although it's a bit small and you can't see it.

For some reason, that character was immersed in the milk, and for some reason, I was soaking it in as if it felt good, or rather, it looked delicious.

:13:43I thought it was witty and fashionable, and I also thought it was a handkerchief that I would want to own because of its color, and it's beautiful as a handkerchief, so I'm having fun and dreaming about it.
That's what I mean. yes. I thought this was great when I first saw it. is.

 - Semi-Grand Prix (2 works) -

Author: Umetsu Kae (Japan) Title: Power Rice ball

Judges’ comments:

(Comment from Mr. Saito at the screening committee)

Well, it's called Power Rice Ball.
Yes, well, yes, itadakimasu at the scene. After all, this is the color of Japan seen through color and the so-called Nakatanien color of Japanese rice balls. It's Kabuki color, and the brush strokes are pretty well painted.
I think dark red is a very tasteful color. So, I gave it an evaluation. This theme is similar to that of a Japanese rice ball, but the combination of the naughty strokes of the composition colors and other elements make it an impressive piece. Especially the shrimp color used for the shrimp and seaweed and the white color of the rice.**- and the surrounding coloring, such as the blue-green turnip case, will whet your appetite.
No matter where you look, the picture will be different, but no matter where you look, the picture with the same composition will come out, so it's nice to have a sense of security. and. I thought it would definitely be great to put this in my lunch box. Well, I think there were onigiri-style handkerchiefs like Onigiri Girls every year and the year before last, but it's definitely something like this.
Well, I think Bento Girl is better. Well, the way it was conveyed was an image, so I thought it was very good. yes.

(Yuge's comment at the screening committee)

And this is simply delicious. Yes, it's that simple. The coloring is so expressive, and the delicious-looking products garnered a lot of votes.

Author: Poskochinova Maria (Russia) Title: the secret ingridient

Judges’ comments:When giving a handkerchief, I want it to convey a variety of feelings, especially ``warm feelings for the recipient.'' I felt that this expression, in which such feelings become the secret ingredient and melts into the warm soup, is a perfect match for the handkerchief, an item that is rooted in gift culture.

The Grand Prix and Semi-Grand Prix winners will be selected to commercialize their designs and sell them at CLASSICS the Small Luxury directly managed store.・At online shops and other storesIt will be on sale. The sales date will be announced later.

Work name
『Waterlandmelon』

[Jury comments]
Takashi Saito (Griffon Co., Ltd. Representative Director/Project Designer)

A handkerchief with a contrast of red and green that is immediately recognizable as a watermelon, vividly evoking the exhilaration of summer. A unique perspective can be felt by cutting the corners at right angles to resemble a watermelon, and the playfulness and taste shine through. Furthermore, by calling ``Watermelon'' ``Waterlandmelon,'' this may be a false assumption on my part, but it seems to be reminiscent of the red parasols and green waves on a beach, and it somehow resembles the scene of a beach resort, making it a piece you'll want to carry in your summer bag.

"Tempura"

[Jury comments]

Kanako Kajiwara (Co., Ltd.KAJIHARA DESIGN STUDIORepresentative Director/Textile Designer)

The tempura ingredients are drawn as if they were floating in a sensuous and ambiguous texture and soft colors. The moment I saw this design, I felt a gentle sense of happiness, as if my brain was being filled with delicious food.I think this handkerchief will be a soothing handkerchief that combines the warmth that comes from food and a happy mood.

NYUM NYUM

[Jury comments]
Kaoru Takai (Graphic designer, Sun-Ad Co., Ltd.)

Fish bones have a unique, cute and nice shape. Even though you've finished eating it, it makes you think, ``It must have been delicious.'' Cat pose also makes you feel full. The colors are bright and it looks great as a scarf or as a decoration in your room. "NYUM NYUM” The title also grabbed my attention. These are delicious words that you'll want to keep saying. “Nyamnyam” That's what the cat is actually saying. Literally stylish1I thought it was a piece.

Rintaro Yuge (Blooming Nakanishi Co., Ltd.) CLASSICS the Small Luxury Executive Officer

It was a work that stimulated the imagination and gave a sense of the various intentions behind the work. I felt that the depth of flavor of the five basic tastes and the flow of taste were expressed by the rough waves, and the cutlery, which changed depending on the meal contents, expressed the current trend of seeking diversity. The more I looked at it, the more I imagined it, and I felt that it was a work that expressed infinite possibilities in the design of a handkerchief.

A Good Day Starts with a Yummy Bite

[Jury comments]

Hajime Nakanishi (President, Blooming Nakanishi Co., Ltd.)

A photo that makes you imagine a scene from breakfast. By including a ladybug in the scene, the scene becomes more than just a breakfast scene, but one that evokes a sense of nature and a sense of nostalgia. Living in the city, I rarely have small visitors at my breakfast table. The presence of this small visitor brings us back to our origins: we must never forget that our lives are part of nature's workings. And the environment in which I was able to have breakfast with this small visitor was a picture that made me feel very enriched.
