Dandelions and violets.The dandelions and violets are arranged in good balance and carefully hand-embroidered one stitch at a time. Gold thread is used for the veins of the leaves, giving the handkerchief an elegant and glittering appearance. The stitching is finished with an elegant and neat French hem, with a small openwork pattern at the corners.

What is Gashoen?
Gashoen is an organization led by Takuji Ueda of the Kanze school of Noh theater. Based in the scenic Shukugawa area of Hyogo Prefecture, Gashoen performs a variety of activities to promote Noh to people of all ages.
